Reliably good tea

I've been coming to Mr. Tea Cafe for a while now, probably my fifth or sixth order. Usually I get the Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea, and this time was no different. It's always consistent, which is why I keep coming back. The sweetness level is just right for me, and the pearls are always chewy. Never had a bad experience with their online ordering or pickup process either. It's my go-to when I want good boba without any fuss.

Fair price for fruit tea

I was looking for a decent deal on a fruit tea and saw they had a special on the Lychee Fruit Tea. I got it with lychee jelly. It felt like a good value for the price, definitely saved a bit compared to other places. The drink itself was refreshing, and the jelly added a nice texture. Worth what I paid, I think I'd get it again if the offer was still on.

Smoothie and service review

I ordered a Strawberry Smoothie for myself and a Jasmine Milk Tea for my friend through their website last week. The online ordering was straightforward, pretty easy to navigate and customize our drinks with different sugar levels and toppings. Pickup was quick, maybe took 5 minutes after I arrived. My smoothie was blended well, not too icy, and the Jasmine Milk Tea was exactly what my friend expected. The staff at the counter were friendly and efficient. Everything was accurate with the order. No complaints about quality or service, a good experience overall from start to finish.

Good Taro Milk Tea

I grabbed a Taro Milk Tea with tapioca pearls the other day. It was pretty good! I usually go for something else, but I wanted to try something new. The flavor was right, not too sweet, which I liked. The pearls were a nice texture too. Just a solid pick-me-up, hit the spot after a long day.

Hey everyone, thinking of ordering a bunch of drinks for a party. Does Mr. Tea Cafe do like, catering or anything for bigger orders?

S Steve 1 month ago
Yeah, they do catering packs! I saw it on their site when I was checking out their menu.

My office ordered from them for a team lunch once. You should contact them directly about it, pretty sure they have special arrangements for large orders.

Can you order ahead for pickup, like on their app or something? Don't wanna wait in line forever.

C Carly T. 2 months ago
Yep, you can order online for pickup. Super convenient, saves a lot of time.

I always use their app to order, then just swing by and grab it. Works great.

Does anyone know if their rewards points ever expire? I've been saving mine up.

J Josh 1 month ago
Nah, I don't think they expire. I've had points sitting for ages and they're still there.

I haven't heard of them expiring. I redeemed some points after like 6 months and it was fine.

How do their boba pearls compare to, say, Sharetea or Kung Fu Tea? Are they fresh and chewy or kinda hard?

G Gwen Z. 1 month ago
I think they're really good, nice and fresh. Better than Sharetea's sometimes, which can be hit or miss for me.

Definitely chewy! Way better texture than some places where they feel a bit undercooked. Mr. Tea Cafe's tapioca is always on point.

Anyone know if they actually use real tea leaves for their drinks or is it all powders and stuff like some other places?

D David R. 2 months ago
Oh yeah, it's real tea. You can taste the difference, especially in their Earl Grey or Jasmine.

They definitely brag about using real tea leaves. It's one of the reasons I go there instead of some of the cheaper spots.

Is Mr. Tea Cafe only in Hawaii? I'm visiting next month and wanna know if I can get my boba fix once I'm back home.

C Cody 2 months ago
AFAIK, yes, they're just in Hawaii. It's kinda their whole thing.

T Todd 2 months ago
Pretty sure they're a Hawaii-based spot. Haven't seen any locations elsewhere.

Yup, student discount is a thing there. Just flash your ID when you order.
